Terms & Conditions

Please take the time to read this page containing terms and conditions before booking, as this will avoid any unwanted misunderstandings.

You must inform the parents of all of the children taking part in the petting zoo or pony rides experience at the birthday party especially if their child will be engaging in animal related activities (due to allergies etc.).
The area in which the petting zoo or mobile animal farm will be operating cannot have been treated with chemical fertilizers or pesticides within 5 days of the petting zoo/animal farm operating on it. Chemical fertilizers and pesticides are a health hazard to the animals.
We supply all the necessary animal food to feed the animals.
All animals are to stay inside the fenced enclosure for their safety and yours.
Bookings are ONLY held once the deposit is received and we will ONLY arrive at your booked destination after the full payment has been received, banked and all payments cleared. All bookings are secured and held exclusively for you and we work on a “first in with payment” basis. Only you can make any changes and this must be done in writing or email. (exceptions can be made in special circumstances)
Bookings can only be considered confirmed once you receive a confirmation email from Johnson Park. (or verbal confirmation is no email service is available)
All cancellations and postponements results in the forfeit of your deposit.
If remaining payment is not made at least 2 weeks prior to your booking date, your booking may be cancelled and your deposit forfeited.
STRICTLY NO CHEQUES accepted without prior arrangement, CASH or DIRECT DEBIT only.
You must fill in a “booking form” which we will send to you after you contact us via email. This booking form will supply us with your party and booking details, and you must agree to these terms and conditions. (exceptions are made if you do not have access to a computer – I can post all paperwork to you).
Once you have paid your deposit or payment in full, we will determine that you have acknowledged read, understood and agreed to our terms, conditions and cancellation policy. There will be NO exceptions.
It is up to you, as our customer, to inform yourself of our terms and conditions, which have been made readily available on this page and on our website.
It is up to you, our customer, to have a wet weather plan in place. We provide limited shelter for our animals.
Our shade shelters are not suitable shelter in torrential rain, so an alternative, such as a garage, carport or a large tarp erected by yourself may be necessary. Please contact us if you think this may be a problem and we will work on a solution.
Available animals may be changed without notice due to ill health or other circumstances out of our control. For this we can only offer an apology and hope you will understand.
You must ensure there is adequate parking and access for a vehicle towing a horse float when you book our petting zoo and two vehicles when booking the mobile animal farm.
Our animal transport vehicles require a three tandem (one in front of the other, NOT side by side) car parking spot to drive into, as we are unable to reverse park our car/truck and horse float into tight spots or on main roads.
Due to the length of our vehicle and float, we are unable to reverse into driveways on narrow roads or streets with cars parked opposite your driveway s please leave the front of the premises free for easy parking and unloading to avoid any delays.
If we are late due to inadequate directions or parking arrangements, the time will not be made up.
We reserve the right to eject a child who is deemed a danger to themselves or our animals from the petting zoo / mobile animal farm. If after attempts to explain adequate behaviour around animals, go ignored by the child and/or parents we reserve the right to pack up and leave. The animal's safety is our number one concern.
If an animal is injured or killed by a guest on your property then you may be liable for the vet bills incurred and/or the price of the animal. Some considerations are made for accidental injuries.
You MUST inform us if your child, or a child attending the party has special needs, so that we can better cater for this child, otherwise we may think the child is misbehaving and take appropriate action.
You must not assume an email, phone message, or text message as received, unless you receive a confirmation from us.
Please ensure you confirm your party at least one - two week before the date.

We try and avoid any additional stress caused by misunderstandings, by informing you of all of the above, so you know what is expected from you and what you can expect from us.
